location was fantastic and and incredible, close enough to main square and a traditional old town marvao and restaurants and walking streets. the apartment was 25 minutes walk away from soho. got private bathroom with a bathtub.

The terrace here is fantastic with beautiful garden views. Maria, the host, really made us feel at home. We would totally come back, had a great time! 🌿

Spacious and well-equipped kitchen for cooking up a feast during the holiday season. The central location allowed easy access to the charming town and its attractions. The host was friendly and helpful, making our Christmas stay more enjoyable.

The flat felt quite cold and damp during our stay in December, and the portable radiators didn't do much to warm it up. It would probably be more comfortable during warmer months.

The highlight was sitting on the town wall, sipping our morning coffee and enjoying the beautiful view. Marcelina, our lovely hostess, made us feel welcomed and explained everything we needed to know. The apartment itself was spacious and had a charming traditional feel, with a terrace that offered breathtaking views of the surrounding walls and countryside. We even had the incredible experience of watching a lightning storm over Spain from the terrace. The location was perfect, situated within the historic walls of Marvao and just a short stroll away from all the sights, restaurants, and cafes. We also appreciated the convenient access to the battlements and the walking trail downhill. Despite a couple of minor inconveniences, like having to pay cash on arrival and the wifi not working properly on our last night, our overall experience at Casa O Arco Alojamento Local was exceptional. We would definitely recommend this place for a peaceful stay in a traditional house in Marvao.
